1. As costs vary from school to school we keep any balance for our contingency and administrative funds. Our contingency fund helps us to honour our promise to sponsor each child for up to 6 years, even if the sponsor feels unable to continue for the whole period.

2. In order to keep our administration costs to a minimum the charity is run by volunteer workers wherever possible.

3. We also aim to carry out a large proportion of our administration by email to keep postage costs low.

4. Occasionally sponsors may like to donate further to assist the schools to purchase equipment for the benefit of all the students e.g. text books, games equipment or teaching aids. There is a separate fund specifically for this purpose.

5. School Costs.
The schools divide their fees slightly differently but generally cover:
Academic fees, boarding fees, food and water, medical care, I.D card, exam fees, building fees (maintenance of school)

6. We generally do not provide school uniforms, books or mattresses as we feel that the parents/guardians should find money for these to give them a sense of involvement in their child's education. However all orphaned childen receive enough money to buy these items and all children are given 'pocket money' for other items.
