  • Nyamihuu Primary School was the first school S.E.E.D. supported as this was the village Emma and Matt lived in during SPW 2003. The Head, Mr. C. Semwenda, is very enthusiastic about the benefits of S.E.E.D. for his pupils futures and for raising enthusiasm for learning and achievement throughout the school.
  • Nyamahana Primary School is situated close to Ruaha National Park and is the smallest of the primary schools we work with. The Head, Mr. Y. W. Mussa, would like to see an increase in the number of standard seven leavers who pass their exams.
  • Mangalali Primary School has the highest level of successful standard seven leavers out of all the schools S.E.E.D works with. As well as a primary school it has a small nursery school, unusual in Iringa schools. It has warm and welcoming staff who have proved to be able to take the school forward.
  • Mgera Primary School is the school that Sarah lived near during SPW 2003 and is the closest school to Iringa town. The Head, Mr. Ramadha is excited about the opportunities afforded to his students through S.E.E.D.
  • Mfyome Primary School is located half an hour further along the road from Mgera. Mfyome remains dedicated to achieving more and believe that the possibility of sponsorship will encourage more of their students to succeed.
  • Makifu Primary School is the newest school added to S.E.E.D. sponsorship due to their impressive standard seven pass rate and enthusiasm for hard work. It is also the village that Sarah is currently working in. The Head teacher is thrilled that his school has been included in S.E.E.D. sponsorship.
